I was so completely overwhelmed to be winner of the 2017 ‘Creative Industries’ Northumberland Business Award. Working and being present in the county of Northumberland for the last eight years and especially the awe inspiring Holy Island of Lindisfarne where I reside means so much to me. It is simply a stunning area of completely compelling natural beauty which has inspired me endlessly in my work. Creativity is in everything I do, I feel it is the crux of how we ultimately express ourselves in life and through our work. So winning this award means the world to me. Thank you to everyone who voted for me. I look forward in anticipation to what lies ahead in the coming years for my business and the creativity surrounding it. Emma Rothera
