BERWICK-UPON-TWEED THREE BRIDGES, GOLDEN HOUR, SUNSET, LAST LIGHT AND DARK SKY PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

  • Meeting in Berwick-Upon-Tweed, timings and location to be confirmed, dependant on time of the year

  • 1 hour - Golden Hour Photography focussing on the third bridge, the famous ‘Royal Border Bridge’ this absolutely magical, 19th century, railway viaduct opened by Queen Victoria in 1850 and designed by the truly inspiring Robert Stephenson. This bridge links Edinburgh with London and is a truly remarkable landmark, sat on the awe inspiring river tweed which will give us the opportunity to create some stunning golden hour landscape imagery.

  • 2 Hours - Focusing on two of the three bridges in Berwick for sunset and last light in to dark sky, one ’The Old Bridge’ a Grade I listed bridge, also know as Berwick bridge, built by James l (VI of Scotland) built between 1611 - 1624, and will celebrate it’s 400th anniversary year in 2024. Two ‘The Royal Tweed Bridge’ the new bridge built in 1928. Both these wonderful bridges span the River Tweed and are located in an outstanding landscape setting.

NUMBER OF PLACES AVAILABLE

  • 1-2-1, 2-2-1, 3-2-1 and group bookings, maximum 15 spaces available to ensure plenty of individual attention if needed. If you wish to make a group booking of four or over a reduction in cost will be added. Booking early is essential if you wish to secure a specific date for your workshop.

  • The workshop will be conducted on foot and via car between locations

  • All workshops are conducted outside in the landscape

  • Food and Beverages, although you will be encouraged to bring along your own drink/snack during the course of the workshop.

  • Transport to and from the workshop. A meeting and drop of point will be stipulated at the start and end of this workshop, which will be in Berwick-Upon-Tweed. All meeting points will be within walking distance.

  • Parking discs which cost £1

  • Emma will encourage you to explore your own creativity during each photography workshop, giving you support and encouragement to find your own view point, helping with guidance through advice, technical knowledge, the creative aspect of photography and composition, enabling you to successfully capture some beautiful landscape imagery of the Berwick bridges and their outstanding surroundings .
